Job Description:
- Market merchandise by studying advertising, sales promotion, and display plans
- Analyze operating and financial statements for profitability ratios
- Maintain operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures
- Act as liaison for store management between vendors and cultivate a working relationship
- Provide exceptional customer service and be able to perform the duties of a store clerk
- Manage stock levels and make key decisions about stock control
- Analyze sales figures and forecaste future sales and staffing needs to maximize profits
- Deal with staffing responsibilities, such as interviewing potential staff, conducting appraisals and performance
reviews, as well as provide or organize training and development - Responde to customer complaints and comments
- Tour the sales floor regularly, talking to colleagues and customers to identify and resolve urgent issues
- Maintain awareness of market trends in the retail industry, understand forthcoming customer initiatives and monitor local competitors
- Initiate changes to improve business processes and operations
- 2-3 years retail store management experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Proficient in the use of computers, including: MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), POS and Inventory Systems
- Excellent communication skills
- Capacity to follow through on requested tasks and remain motivated to stay busy throughout each workday

- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings & weekends to meet the needs of the business is essential
